Accreditations and Inspections
OMEGA Lab was established as an accredited laboratory by ACCREDIA, the Italian Accreditation Body, with ID No. 182E, for the verification of legally controlled measuring instruments.
Over the years, it has evolved into the Group’s central hub for inspection and assistance—a strategic reference point that streamlines and enhances intervention and periodic verification processes.
Thanks to a widespread presence across the country, with in-house technicians and highly qualified partners, OMEGA Lab ensures quick, precise, and minimally invasive support, helping clients maintain operations without disrupting their daily workflow.
The laboratory is authorized to perform verifications on AWI instruments (Automatic Weighing Instruments), including price-labeling scales of class Y(a) and Y(b) up to 30 kg capacity, and NAWI instruments (Non-Automatic Weighing Instruments) of class III and IIII up to 1,500 kg, in compliance with Ministerial Decree 93/2017.
OMEGA Lab also operates as a Type C Inspection Body, in accordance with the UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012 standard.
